Thanks Doug.

It's there now. You can pick it up from our normal cdt-nighly p2 repo:

Sorry for the delays,

There is no buildsite.xml any more. We have our own CDT aggregation that
brings together CDT, TCF and EDC and that's managed out of our
org.eclipse.cdt.master.git repo. It's a simple tycho p2 build that uses the
category.xml file to determine what features to include in the p2 repo.

Does the feature need to be added to buildsite.xml?

Yeah, not sure what happened there. I see the category.xml is the

Doug, I just took a look at the cdt-master.zip for the last
cdt-master-nightly build. It has a bunch of TCF stuff, but no
tcf.rse plug-in or feature. Am I missing something or did
something not
build?
I saw your commit message from build #60.

I also just notice that Juno is off a week due to EcilpseCon Europe.
So our
+1 date is actually Nov 7. I won't be at ECE so will do a CDT push

Monday anyway. We can update it again on the 7'th.

Doug is this resolved?

Tools due to missing TCF RSE

Hi Jeff, this is actually probably a question for tcf-dev.

There is a bit of history here. The TCF on the release train
has only been enough to satisfy the dependency for CDT's EDC
debugger.
RSE wasn't part of that. So if it has been included in the
past, it was by accident.

Now, that'll change for Juno

So CDT will require RSE? I'm happy about this as it makes
remote debug launches more user-friendly.
I'm curious to know the motivation behind this dependency
though.
Sorry if I missed something said earlier.

Two points there. 1) I didn't say that, and 2) the CDT remote
launch already
depends on RSE.

The question is where do we put the TCF RSE plug-in on the
release train,
or any of TCF for that matter. Or maybe it just remains hidden
so client plug- ins can satisfy their dependencies.

Doug

We don't have any thoughts on how it should be exposed to the
end-user, but we would certainly like a solution in the
near-term as
M3+0 is coming up Oct 28th. Is there an issue with at least
including it the way it was done in Indigo until you come up
with a better
long-term solution?
