Re: [rt-pmc] RT PMC calls scheduled to resume

Mike,

Thanks, I agree it is fine and likely desired to be able to group projects into some logical top-level projects.  My main point is to level-set some expectations here since at the beginning of the RT project inception we all seemed to have some grand vision of collaboration around runtime and the RT PMC was to shepherd this vision into existence and promote its adoption in the community etc etc.  I'm perfectly fine if the RT PMC does not have the desire, resources or need to be such shepherds.  But without that overall 'goal' it does make the meetings less useful and I think it puts us in a position to cancel the regular calls we do have and keep our interactions to the mailing list.  There is only so many times we can have the discussion "OK why are we all here again?".

eclipse project.

This is not unusual. Both the Tools and the Technology top-level projects
come to mind as similar examples. It still makes sense to group projects
which are in somewhat similar domains, or we would have hundreds of projects
ending up in Technology.
