Re: [wtp-incubator-dev] Cannot remove two directories from one plugin
|
I was just wondering what a mess can be there inside CVS with all the refactorings that are done in a project (This is because the directories always remain there.)
Dave said this is a CVS feature, but honestly I don't understand it :)
Thanks again the CVS frustration is a little smaller now (just a little)!

Looks done. That was quick!
I am curious why it was needed? (I think
I know, but best to document such things, since removing something from
a source control system is normally rare, even discouraged).
Also, be sure your cvs client (hopefully
Eclipse :) is set up to "ignore empty directories on check out"
so normally you'd never see it, if empty.
And most important, be sure bin/ is
in your .cvsignore file. (Normally this is the "default behavior"
but I know there's some sequence of events that causes 'bin' to get in
cvs, and then it is hard to get rid of, and,
as I suspect you know, derived resources
should rarely go in cvs).
