As Doug said, the XSLTC might not necessarily work the same as the 
normal interprettive version.   I've seen using the XSLTC version have 
problems when a file can't be found using the document() function (the 
proceess just dies), where as the Interprettive version just continues 
on and returns an empty nodeset (which is the correct behavior).  So it 
is necessary to test with both versions when doing development.

I've opened an enhancement request, that we can do for the 1.0 time 
frame to add the necessary launching support option for at least 
launching with the compiled transformer.  Bug 243057.
