Re: [epf-dev] Triage on bugs assigned to 1.0.0.
|
I was thinking that we should add "minimal" deployment content to
openup/basic (but not sure if it is worth to call it a discipline)...
maybe part of the confusion was that I gave the name "deployment
plug-in" to the content that I was planning to add ... just for
attaching it to the bug for discussion ...( a useful deployment plug-in
should have more content than what it is in there)... meanwhile I raised
individual bugs so we can better discuss what deployment content/
considerations could be added to openup/basic

Comment #7 on this bug says: "Suggest closing this bug. All the
individual issues are either already
addressed or separated into individual bugs"
So, this one should close it, not moved to 1.0.1.
Deployment

As part of the success criteria for 1.0 we said we should have
plug-ins extending OpenUP/Basic. Deployment would be a candidate.
Unless Deployment becomes one of the disciplines in OpenUP/Basic itself.
What's the decision on plug-in vs. discipline? Any reason for
postponing it to 1.0.1?

This also would be an extension to OpenUP/Basic. Where do we stand at?
What are the plans for this plug-in? Is it in good shape for starting
the due diligence process?
Given that, we should move it to 1.0.1, as there may not be time for
due diligence before 1.0 is released.
I leave the other bugs for the content owners to comment on.

[epf-dev] Triage on bugs assigned to 1.0.0.
These bugs are currently not assigned to any iteration. They’re just
in the 1.0.0 bucket. I did a triage and I propose we reassign these
bugs to the iterations described below, and assign them to the package
owner if they’re not already assigned.
Since there are a lot of these, I suggest we respond if we have an
exception. Unless there are objections, I’ll move these on Tuesday
4/17. If you’re already the owner of one of these, feel free to
reassign it yourself.
FYI, there were a couple of duplicates with bugs already assigned to
iterations. I went ahead and closed them.
