I think we should document the steps on the CDT wiki. From experience, it's painful to discover by sniffing around, and nearly impossible to not overlook a few steps when doing so. This was with cvs; not sure if it's any easier now that we're on git. Gauging from Marc's experience, it sounds like it's still something we shouldn't assume every committer knows or can easily discover.

Cool. Thanks! Yeah, with EDC now out of the build and if I split TCF from CDT I can get rid of the master too. I'll look at that next week when I get back home.
