A compatible maven-aether-provider is available since 2013-04-21, Aether core 0.9.0.M2 was released 2013-02-20.

Ah, I see. Thanks for pointing that out.

Does this mean that with the next milestone release there's a chance to get the maven-aether-provider via p2?
