Re: [recommenders-dev] [GSOC 2013] Snip Editor weekly report

Hi Marcel,
I've set up an experimental multi-page editor today [1]. I added my editor instead of the default one and it seems to work :)
I did not manage to set up the maven build for it yet though.

A couple of weeks maybe, at most until the 1st of September. And sure, I will do a blog post about it :)

Best, Stefan.

Just in case someone is missing a final statement on this:

Let's have a view that shows all available snippets. On doubleclick it opens  a multi-page editor, one page displaying the editor, and other pages (not decided yet what will be on them) with some metadata like, description, title, search string, ratings, and so on.

Stephan,
can you make an estimation when the view and a first version of the multipage editor will be ready for testing? If we have this in place, I'd like to ask you to create a blog post about it.

Thanks,
Marcel

This makes it easy to hook into additional features like the outline view etc. and would allow reuse of the editor in different contexts. It would also free resources and time that could be spent on the snippet commenting and rating functionality.
