Re: [tcf-dev] How to begin

Hello Stefan,

So I think the first question is : Can you link TCF into your server (so you save one network hop) or do you want your server unchanged ?

If you want your server unchanged, what libraries / programming languages do you have to talk to your server ?

Thanks,
Martin

Hi Uwe!

Well, yes this is kinda what I'm looking for. But at the moment I am not sure where to begin at the moment.

I am now able to compile the daytime project but I am not sure how to establish the communication between my server and the agent:

Eclipse <-> Agent <-> Server

I think all I need is a little push into the right direction :D

Hi,

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but try to use the "Target Communication Framework" launch. The launch is designed to launch a program (via the IProcesses service) via the TCF agent you are connected to and you can attach the Debugger to debug that program.

Best regards, Uwe
