Re: [rt-pmc] Paragraph URLs

I was being dramatic for effect. There is of course no hard limit or right number. The point is that being able to interestingly motivate your project in 50-100 words is "a good thing"(tm). It serves the reader well and forces the projects to really pin down what they are about. We have it easy in Equinox for sure but that does not detract from the value of a concise project description.

(I disagree that if it takes 8 lines, you dont know what you are doing :-) ) Not every project like Equinox can reference a well known keyword like OSGi which basically describes the whole project in one word :-)

So dont have stuff like we just did 1.3. and on Nov 23 we are going to do 1.4M8 (or whatever) or reference coming events in the coming month. That really belongs on the project page and not in an abstract about what a project is doing.

In isolation a few more lines does not hurt but in aggregate it makes the project list very long and daunting. The paragraph text is meant specifically for aggregation in lists like we see on the new RT page. So in an effort to manage the overall page length, I suggest that project paragraphs should render no more than ~4 lines on the RT project web page.
