Hello Michell,

I am also in the same boat as you. I have been trying to run PTP in our cluster as well which also has SGE as the scheduler, but have had little success. I had posted a question similar to this and they told me to use 'Grid Engine-Generic-Batch', but I still have not succeeded in setting it up. I am still trying and if I solve the problem, I can give you the steps I took. Can you also let me know how you set up PTP in your system if you are able to do it? I would greatly appreciate it.
Hello Antelmo,

Thanks a lot for your answer and for your triggering of Greg's renewal of interest on this question.

I thought that since SUN had definitively "eclipsed", SGE could be supported by IBM folks, but I may not be a good oracle. ;)

Sure, I will share the solution if I find a way to use our cluster SGE batch system through eclipse.
