Mik said he didn't see an option to nominate and the portal does not list any project leads for mylyn: http://eclipse.org/projects/project_summary.php?projectid=mylyn . On this note, should project leads generally also have committer status? Looking at mylyn.versions [1] this is the case for me but on the other I am not listed as a committer on mylyn.tasks [2].
