Re: [mdt-ocl.dev] MDT 2.0.0 vs OMG 2.0 / 2.2?

Hi All

It would certainly be much easier to forget OCL 2.0. However there are
some rather important 2.0 clients, most notably ourselves on other
projects.

QVT 1.0 specifies OCL 2.0, therefore all work on QVT must use OCL 2.0. It
is unclear when QVT 1.1 will appear; if the OCL RTF to specification
guide is anything to go by, the next QVT spec copuld be a couple of years.
I have no intention of freezing QVT development for this duration.

Supporting two specifications is a pain, but it is also an opportunity. It
forces us to support behavioural variation points for ourselves that can
also be used by other OCL-adjusting languages.
