I like your suggested theme of “Connecting”. Are you suggesting that as a potential scope statement, or as the name of the top-level project?

Actually, a bit of both.

Definitely a possible scope statement, but would also probably work as a name. Could also be a variation around "connect*": Connecto, Connect, …

If we were to stick to having abstract words from the M?ori language, we could even go for Hono (Hono – (verb) (-a) to join, connect) :-) It is probably way to early to think about names though, and I am not quite sure I am in favor of sticking to M?ori words and/or that I like Hono FWIW :)
