Agenda/Notes:
1. [Brian] 1.1M6 - targeted for February 27

2. [Brian, Alexander, Andy]  Selector Architecture Harmonization

  • Phase I update
  • CardSync [1] protocol work is progressing
  • Preliminary leanings so far: no to WebDAV and no to Google protocol buffers
    • Sent out summary notes from meeting this week. If others are interested in participating in ongoing meeting, please contact Brian W. to be invited.

3. [Mary] IPR
  • Protobuf not previously approved, predicate of Jersey was previously approved.
  • OpenID4java will take a while, as first will need to get signed contributor agreements.
    • Separately, it was noted some issues with xml security version being used with IdAS. There were some incompatability when internationalization characters were used.

4.  [Paul] Component renaming
  • Updated many wiki pages to Higgins Selector Switch (from H. Selector Selector)
  • Results of poll for new name for Web Proxy is here [2].
  • Winner is OpenID Gateway. Thoughts?
    • Paul updated the wiki pages on component pages.
    • Completed a vote to name OpenID proxy service  - OpenID Gateway was winner, but not by a strong majority. Tony also added some additional suggestions today as well.
    • Paul will send out a new vote for new top four from last vote and new name candidates.
    • Brian C noted that Serena is finishing up a WSfederation passive requeter profile and preparing to submit this to Higgins. This is somewhat similar to OpenID attribute exchange Web Proxy. It wraps Higgins STS. Will contribute this in a couple of weeks. This could make web-based selector with some changes to RP.

5. [Hank, Mary] Higgins white paper
  • Next steps for completing the draft.
    • Hank released initial draft of white paper for review and contribute some content for specific areas.
    • The goal is to have this completed for release with the June Higgins 1.1 release. Would want to make distinction between Higgins 1.0 and what is coming in Higgins 1.1 release.

6. [Paul] Volunteers needed

  • Still lots of work to do (see [3]) on Higgins 1.1
  • We’re looking for volunteers. Know any out of work but great software developers?
