Re: [gmf-dev] Bug #371888 - Refactoring to support ComboDirectEditManager in GMF Runtime

Hi Philipe,

Not sure what you are asking, but the committer election process is not optional, you have to submit elections for Svyatoslav and Guillaume. I assume we are talking about GMF Tooling.

Cheers...
Anthony

Dear All.
(In reaction to the discussion on contributor and commiter on recent GMF
Runtime activities)

I know there are reasons to open votings earlier and later.

But given EclipseCon 2012 ahead, and given that Svyatoslav and Guillaume
now work 100% on GMF Tooling full times for many month, and will
continue so for the years to come:

I propose we open the voting for Svyatoslav and Guillaume now.

Mickael I., and Ralph G.: do you have enough information to be confident
that Svyatoslav and Guillaume provided lots of work the last months?

Anthony H. and Ed M.: if you would provide a heads-up this would help
Michael G. to make the decision. I fear he fears lots of formalities,
which he tries to avoid by carefully documenting the contribution of
Guillaume and Svyatoslav, which is something for which there is no time.

Michael G.: Opening the vote is the cheapest way to find out who has
which requirements to make the decision. I can then track this
requirements down, and if needed we can follow up with personal
discussions at Eclipse Con. But if we do not open it...

Regards, Philipp
