Now I'm confused. You wrote "non-eclipse.org/...". Why would an Eclipse project providing a p2 repository not use eclipse.org/download?

Sorry for the confusion - does saying eclipse.org/download vs download.eclipse.org clarify things?

Also, I'm not sure why this is an EPP question then. If it's an Eclipse project *and* there are volunteers/contributors with interest in having this in EPP why would they not take care of helping the project producing a p2 repo and participating in SimRel?

It is a question because EPP currently builds a Rust IDE that is currently part of eclipse.org/download listed IDEs but will not be anymore.

FWIW, EMOs statement still applies.

* All features to the package must come through the simultaneous release *

https://www.eclipse.org/lists/cross-project-issues-dev/msg18148.html

I think we should play by the rules. EPP was not created to be a vehicle of doing work that should happen in the projects.

I agree - this is in part what my email is about. If all features must come through simrel, should EPP continue to host builds of Rust IDE or not?
