Ok, thanks, I’ll probably will be
contacting Jeff De Luca (FDD creator) and using his book as main source, so I’ll
surely ask him for permission before contributing to Eclipse.
I’ll keep you updated with the
progress through this list.
Regards and thank you for the tips.
Diego.

Diego,
The
one tip I give relates to content origin.
If
you take your "inspiration" from books or any other process out there
and write the content yourself, making the appropriate references to the origin
of content (i.e. book, author, etc) you should be good to go.
Eclipse
organization typically accepts contributions that come as attachments to
Bugzilla, and some legal analysis is done by them.
Please
let us know how your work evolves and what help is needed.

RE: [epf-dev] FDD Process
|

From the technical point of view, I’ve
already started to split our current process definition in “pure
FDD” plugin and the tailoring to our organization plugin. This way,
sooner or later we will have a FDD Content available. In the meanwhile I will
figure out about legal and related stuff in order to see if we can donate the
FDD content work to the eclipse community (I make no promises).
Is there any tip I should know in this early stage?
Regards,
Diego.

Diego,
Not that we are aware of. That's a good one to represent in EPF if you or
someone you know can volunteer some time to lead/develop material on this
topic.

Is there any already started effort to model the FDD (Feature Driven
Development) process into EPF?
