hi,

great to see all the interest in Scrum!
Just wanted to add a few thoughts on
working in EPF / eclipse:

- Everybody is always welcome (and encouraged!)
to chip in
- There is no limit to how many languages
we can support, except a limit on how many people are willing to do translations,
and maintain them (or the translations become stale...)
- You can have the same underlying model,
but text in different languages, ensuring consistency in structure
- Personally, I think it is good if
we in the end end up with one Scrum plug-in potentially with a number of
different extensions based on needs
- I do not see an issue with different
ideas on how to best structure a plug-in, and how to in this case best
capture the spirit of Scrum. Differences drive innovation. I do however
think that it is good to after a while stop and look at potentially different
approaches and see if there is an opportunity to learn from each other,
and maybe merge different Scrum processes into one.
- If you have an opinion on how to improve
something, the best way to express your idea is by implementing it. Eclipse
is a technocracy, and best solution should win
- If we have more than one Scrum process
surviving in the long end, I think it should be because each of the 'surviving'
process has it's own following in terms of active content authors and consumers.
In eclipse, you always need to proof that your stuff is good by showcasing
that people care enough to build it and to adopt it.

So, let's kepe all the energy going!
Looking forward to having more people involved in working on the Scrum
content (or naturally any other content or tool development)

Scott,

Thanks for the update.  Not wanting to push too hard for dates, but
what timeline should I set my expectations to for hearing this announcement.
 Also, will this initiative allow contributions, or just to push content
on to willing recipients.
