[epf-dev] U.S. Daylight Savings Time Changes

If you're not aware, this year the U.S. is starting Daylight Savings
Time earlier and ending it later than we have in the past. This is
causing some Y2K-like concerns about software that won't update
properly, particularly for software that coordinates international
timezones. This means that some meetings might show the wrong time, if
those meetings are scheduled before or after the dates when the U.S. has
traditionally been on DST.

 

DST in the U.S. will:

Start March 11 (instead of April 1)

End November 4 (instead of October 28)

 

You may want to add the UMT time to the meeting description to avoid
confusion during the "new" U.S. DST times. This would be between March
11 and April 1, and between October 28 and November 1.
