RE: [egit-dev] GitHub Mylyn Connector?

On Mylyn we would be very happy to discuss the best home for the connector. Note that we just announced a restructuring of the project.

Who is interested in contributing to the implementation of this connector? We will also have to align this around the existing efforts on Github. CC'ing David Green, a Mylyn committer who has been involved in that.

I would also like to reopen the discussion of integrating Git with Mylyn's change set management, since the new Mylyn/SCM project is going to be expanding our change set management APIs, which layer over the Team APIs. Ideally I would like Git integration to become our second reference implementation after CVS.

Unfortunately I am only able to catch up on egit-dev sporadically, so I would appreciate if you could keep me on the CC for follow-up discussion.
