Bruno,

org.eclipse.albireo.examples was meant to show standalone (non RCP) use 
of albireo. To develop standalone applications with SWT, SWT is imported 
as a project (called org.eclipse.swt) into Eclipse, as described here:

http://www.eclipse.org/swt/eclipse.php

This project should have just example programs with standard main() 
methods, like the current EmbeddedJTable (and much like the standard SWT 
snippets). So I don't think it needs the patch below.

There is another example project (org.eclipse.albireo.examples.plugin) 
that is configured as a plug-in. It should have all the manifest, 
.project, and .classpath changes that are in your patch. If it's missing 
anything, then feel free to update it.
