Description Dirk Grossmann CLA 2004-06-14 06:03:55 EDT
When I select an identifier and have 'show occurrences (in overview ruler)'
switched on, the overview ruler only shows occurrences in code that is not
collapsed. When I collapse code that has an occurrence, the occurrence marker
disappears from the overview ruler (see attachments).

When opening a file and selecting an identifier that is only used in inner
classes (that are collapsed by default), one could think (from the marks in the
overview ruler) that the identifier is not used at all. I have to search.

The overview ruler is an overview over what's shown in the widget. The only
thing we could do here is show a summary for the collapsed annotation as we do
in the vertical ruler.

Hint: you can use Next/Previous annotation command (or tool bar buttons) to
navigate between the occurrences. This will unfold if needed.
