Taking out from Bug 548518#c69. Progress view keeps on flickering till the search operation is completed. Steps to reproduce: 1. Have a medium sized workspace. 2. Open Progress view. 3. Open Quick Search dialog and type a word like"quick", we can see the flicker in the "Progress view".

@Paul, Now I observe that there is nothing listed in Progress view even if searching is going on, is it expected?

Those search jobs are now system, and since they're in the dialog, it's not really worth showing them in Progress View. If we want progress report on those jobs, it'd be better to place it directly on the dialog.
The problem is "Searching..." literally never stops. I don't even have a very huge workspace. Should I create another bug for it?
