Tested on OSX and it works nice. Unfortunately, the font size switches back to 100% when I switch the editor into Block Selection Mode. This is very unconvenient.

I'll add a description of my experience: It's disorienting if I'm switching back and forth between the "block" and "regular" selection modes. The text I'm working on jumps around on me so I have to "find the spot" again in order to select precisely after I change modes.

(This happens to me even though I've never intentionally used pinch-to-zoom. I filed bug 541713 about trying to mitigate the surprise)

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
