Description Stefan Xenos CLA 2003-11-06 15:27:47 EST
This bug has been opened to collect issues related Eclipse's support for
multiple monitors.

1. Some windows will open halfway between two monitors (bug 41295)

2. Some windows will become larger than any single monitor (bug 34144)

3. It should be possible to detach a view from the workspace window and drag it
to another monitor (bug 40599)

4. It should be possible to detach a view from one workspace window and attach
it into another workspace window.

5. Many large dialogs cannot be resized (this can prevent dialogs opened on a
high-resolution monitor from being dragged onto a low-resolution monitor). (See
bug 37361)

Do we need a separate component for multi-monitor support? Filing it under
[Workbench] just seems too general.
Comment 2 Michael Van Meekeren CLA 2003-11-10 11:34:07 EST
Seems like the component used for Multi-Monitor should just depend on the
catagory of bug, rather than hardware in question. Otherwise we will have
components like scroll-point mouse as well.

All of the mentioned ones are fixed.
