I would like to request an enhancement to the auto close editor functionality.

E.g. Preferences:  General -> Editors
one can choose the option "close editors automatically".

This feature idea is nice, but typically closes the wrong editors for me.  I assume it simply uses FIFO logic?

I would like to request an enhancement such that Most Recently (and perhaps Frequently) Used algorithms are added as options.  MRU alone may be enough, but perhaps users should be allowed to select the algorithm used for closing editors.

Also, it would be nice to be allowed to specify that certain file types should be closed before others (e.g. close .class files before .java since typically .class files will randomly be opened during debugging, and .java are usually being worked on).
