Description Raphael Ackermann CLA 2007-08-12 09:16:17 EDT
steps to reproduce:

working offline. e.g. in a train (as I do now ;-) )
create new task
enter description
try to save
An error dialogue pops up telling me that I cannot do what I would like to do and says that I should commit my task. But this is not possible, as I am not working online.

expected behaviour:
ideally it should be possible to just save them and submit them later. I cannot see a reason why this wouldn't be possible, other then that nobody has implemented it yet. The data to be saved just consists of some strings. why not save that somewhere and then let the user later submit it to the repository.
If the above is not possible, then give the user the option to save it as a local task. to create a local task with the same data. The most important one is the summary and the description.

At the moment I have to create a local task and then manually copy the task data from the repository task to the local task. This is not user friendly.
