Description Chris McLaren CLA 2002-06-05 23:36:06 EDT
after creating a tool, i usually want to run it to test it out. i should be
able to do this from the external tools configuration dialog. there should be a
[RUN] button to run the selected tool.

clean F2
Comment 2 Simon Arsenault CLA 2002-06-06 13:29:33 EDT
Agree, it would improve the usability. Could be part of the minor ui changes
for F3?
Comment 3 Nick Edgar CLA 2002-06-06 13:52:30 EDT
If we limit the size of the menu as suggested elsewhere, then we need to add
Run to the dialog.

Chris was working on this bug before the freeze for 2.0.

Comment 7 Simon Arsenault CLA 2002-09-06 15:08:50 EDT
New external tool support has a view with a run button on it.

Note: new external tool work is not yet released to the head stream and won't
for a while yet.
