Description Christophe Elek CLA 2001-12-06 10:35:59 EST
Is it possible to associate Eclipse/JDT with the .java file extension on
Windows?
Comment 1 Dirk Baeumer CLA 2002-01-10 06:07:31 EST
No, currently not. Support for this can only be provided by the platform (e.g.
special application). Moving
Comment 2 Kevin Haaland CLA 2002-01-10 13:22:09 EST
Making the association is the easy part, for this to really work there will
need to be support for non-managed resources or a way to build the project
scaffolding around the file the user clicked on.

Moving to Core for comment.
