I have been talking to several WSAD customers and the following requests have 
been made. They would like to double click on an .xml file (or other workbench 
recoginized file types) and that will launch the workbench automatically for 
them. Note that MS Visual Studio has similar support and it is hard to explain 
why we do not have it.

This would be interesting and should be relatively easy, however we have many 
other issues still to address for v2.
Will investigate, time permitting.

I think it's really a duplicate of bug 4922 .
