Re: [science-iwg] Eclipse Newsletter this month

Thanks Jay - I got the press release descriptions and the Science WG website descriptions of the projects and amalgamated them in this GDoc: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1rZywr6vYd-9Lyu7mzH6gmRGM5dCjsu_iSvvnpiq_bR4/edit?usp=sharing

The working group and the project leaders knows the projects best, so please:
1) Review the Gdoc
2) Choose the description you prefer for the project you're responsible for
3) Move the preferred description to the final list section at the bottom of the page.

Feel free to edit the document directly, or make comments/suggestions.

I would like to get the description list finalized at the latest tomorrow.

Regards and thank you all in advance,
Roxanne

Roxanne,

I think the best source for that is the press release from last month, although Philip's new one for Chemclipse is different than what was in the release.

Sorry Torkild, I meant is anyone collecting the list/descriptions of all the science projects?

Most people know or watch series like CSI:NY and others. Effectively, it's about to analyze unknown samples by using their chemcial traces. Most commonly, techniques like gas chromatography (GC), liquid chromatography (LC) and mass spectrometry (MS) are used separately or hyphenated (GC/MS, LC/MS) for this purpose. ChemClipse is a platform for chemists to analyze and evaluate the aforementioned data.

Mike was going to write about the TLP, but due to unforeseen circumstances he won't be able to make the deadline.

Can anyone else take this on? I think a few paragraphs about the TLP, the list of projects, and how to get involved would do the trick.

I’ve added a document[1] with links to those I know of. Jay, I think I remember that someone is writing about the TLP?

Best regards,
Torkild
