Thanks, Erwin and I are working on something for Triquetrum.  We should be able to meet the deadline.

Everyone,

Sorry! My mistake! I'm not sure why I typed Friday... I think I went off to check my calendar and forgot to update the sentence. Yes, it is Thursday November 10th.

Apologies again!

Hi everyone,

I am excited for this Science themed newsletter, it'll be great! I create the newsletter around a theme so that the reader can have a few great articles about a specific interest they have or learn about a new topic. Here is the Eclipse Newsletter from this month, the theme was Eclipse IoT: http://www.eclipse.org/community/eclipse_newsletter/2016/september/

Great question Erwin. I'll try to answer most of your questions here:

- The article can be a preexisting article that we recycle and republish
- Length should be at least 500 words, but it really depends on the content
- Visual-aids are always a good idea (jpg, png, gifs and videos)
- The article should be technical but written in a way so that beginners and advanced users can understand and benefit from it
- Deadline for content November 10

Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Regards,
Roxanne

Hi everyone! I wanted to send a reminder that the Eclipse newsletter this month is on our group and that drafts are due to Roxanne by Friday.

Here is the current list of articles:
*Scientific Computing and Visualization (ICE and EAVP) - Jay et al.
*Workflows with Triquetrum - Erwin and Christopher
*Data structures (January) - Jonah and/or Tracy
*Parallel Computing (PTP) - Greg
*Science TLP - Mike, maybe?
*Full Project Directory (with 3-sentence descriptions) - All project leads
*In the Lab: Scripting, LaTeX, and Web support (basically a catch all for our cool side efforts) - Torkild, Jay, and anyone else

Does anyone need any help?

Jay
