Re: [science-iwg] SWG Blog

Hey Torkild, Everyone

Confirmed, soon is the right description. Coincidentally, I was working with our web team on this today. We'll see it arrive before EclipseCon. I'll provide another update in higher resolution as it gets a little closer.

Cheers!

Andrea

Hi all,

Sorry for reviving an old thread. The steering committee got word today that there is working in progress for updating our web-site to a new engine. This includes a feature for handling blog posts. I don’t think we got an ETA for this, but it was my impression that the change will happen fairly soon.

Best regards,
Torkild

Andrea,

No problem. I can write a short announcement indeed.
Not sure what the procedure is for an eclipse project : do I blog e.g. on our company blog and that gets linked?
Or does eclipse have a blog service for such things?
Or just a forum message?

cheers

Erwin,

Darn, sorry I didn't see this until too late. If you're willing to blog about it, we can link that up on the Science website as a community news item?

Hi Andrea,

I won't be able to participate, but you might mention that Triquetrum has delivered its initial contribution at https://github.com/eclipse/triquetrum .

We've passed the preliminary IP check. A minimalistic Ptolemy II workflow editor is available, but we're still preparing a "getting started" guide that will be published on the GitHub repos wiki.

Hey Everyone,

I am finishing up the slides for tomorrow's quarterly Eclipse Foundation member meeting. If you have any noteworthy news items for the Science WG slides, please let me know & I'll include them.

I am mentioning the track at EclipseCon North America.

I will be mentioning the Eclipse Advanced Visualization Project as a new proposal.

I don't think we had any new members this quarter.

Anything else I'm forgetting?

Thanks!

Andrea
