Hi all,

Thank you very much for your responses and Dmitry for reviewing my PRs. I’ll raise another election for Gaurav, and hopefully it’ll get some attention.

I don’t have any strong opinions on the branch issue, so I won’t push either way.

I missed this election possibly because of vacation. I am not sure that my +1 can be accepted “post mortem”. There is not enough active committers on Grizzly project. I suppose that other people missed this election too. I am suggesting starting another election and shout about it louder in mailing lists.  I believe that the second attempt will be successful.

P.S.

I reviewed your PRs. I think that in low committers situation we should remove branch protection from the repository. Otherwise PRs will stay unmerged forewer. In order to do it please submit a bug to Eclipse Bugzilla.

 Hi all,

I’ve recently raised an election for Gaurav Gupta as Committer on Eclipse Grizzly: https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/ee4j.grizzly/elections/election-gaurav-gupta-committer-eclipse-grizzly. It unfortunately didn’t receive the required number of votes to pass, but nobody explicitly abstained either. To add to this, I’ve raised numerous important PRs that don’t seem to be receiving any attention:

I think these seem to suggest that there is a problem with inactivity. I hope this is the correct forum to escalate this, as I’d like to see the project keep moving forward.
