I was probably misreading (or skim reading too fast). Yes, I agree map 
files should be updated (nearly) continuously ... after (nearly) any bug 
fix, for example. I assumed that was happening and the discussion was 
about something else. I'll butt-out now. :)

Continuous only happens if you update the map file. It doesn't happen 
just because you checked code into head. I know we disagree on what 
"continuous" should entail. Currently with the process code is only 
built on the build server if the map files are updated.

Not sure how Oisin and the JAXWS project are handling it.
