I will note a potential relation to "Platform/E4". For the record, I approached the platform team on numerous occasions, but despite having a long standing enhancement request to allow users a way to add and remove natures, the platform team has never expressed any serious interest. At this point, I consider the ball to be in their court.

I'm missing some relation to e4. The faceted project framework clearly
enhances the current project natures for a better thing. Some of this
should have an influence back into e4.
