Thanks for the responses guys - agreed on the runtime aspect being  
the differentiator
here. I agree with Dan that there is scope for furnishing the output  
of ECF as a
runtime instance for STP deployment, so an invite to a collaboration  
as suggested
by Mike seems like an amenable approach to take here. Also, his  
advice about not
taking this up at CR is good to :)

I'll kick off a thread on the eclipse.technology.ecp to drill down  
into the
details, please feel free to contribute.
