Tero,
no, there's no external SVN for STEM outside of Eclipse. If I
remember the details of the EPL correctly, there should be no legal
issues with creating your own version of the code. I like the idea of
moving to Git, that would make is much easier for outside contributors
to collaborate.
I don't have any objection.
