Re: [ptp-user] out of source remote build pain

John,

You shouldn't be setting a remote path in this way. If you created a synchronized project to a remote host, then Eclipse already knows that the build directory for the remote host is remote. You shouldn't need to change the build directory at all. As long as you can type 'make' in the directory you specified for the remote part of the synchronized project, then the build should work.

When you build the project (by clicking on the hammer icon), make sure that the *remote* build configuration is selected as the one to build.
