I'm receiving this error:

Event notify error
org.eclipse.ptp.debug.core.pdi.PDIException: Time out for this request.

At the moment it is impossible for me to reproduce the issue with a simple program. I cannot attach proprietary source code. I can say that my code uses also Boost C++ libraries, PETSc and a lot of template metaprogramming.

I am able to debug simple MPI programs.

Hi Michele,

It may also be that you've hit a bug in the debugger. I you still don't have success, I'd appreciate it if you'd open a bug against PTP using bugzilla (http://bugs.eclipse.org/ bugs) and attach a sample code that demonstrates the problem.
