[ptp-user] Decorating files in a remote project

Hi,

Is there a way to tell eclipse/ptp/rdt not to decorate/index files of
a remote project immediately?  When creating a large remote project,
it looks like every file is being transferred from the remote machine
to the local machine for decoration, even if I turn off remote
indexing.
