[ptp-user] MPD in secured environments

Hi,

I was thinking to use as a resource manager the MPD server. The problem is 
that the machines where this should run my applications, are secured and does 
not let programs create connections to outside of his network, and of course 
neither to inside except by ssh.

Is there any way to execute MPD in these environments? any one has some 
experience to run a remote execution from Eclipse in a similar scenario?
