With the current failure, I still end up with some orted tasks sticking around.  The cleanup is effective at removing them.  However, are you saying that they shouldn't be a problem?

I don't think you need to do that anymore - that was for an old version of
ptp and OpenMPI - but Greg would be the final word on that.
