Re: [ptp-dev] Linux Tools SR2 RC2 and PTP

Ok, the fixes are in.

I changed the Parallel feature.xml for both the INDIGO branch and for HEAD. HEAD has the Linux Tools references commented out which solves the mystery of how it built. I fixed the references within the comments.

I leave it to you to un-comment the references for the next RC2 EPP build as I didn't think I should do that without your consent. In your particular case, only the gprof and libhover features needed to have ".feature" added.

The INDIGO EPP build should work with the RC2 version of Indigo SR2 next week as I have just updated the Indigo linuxtools.b3aggrcon file.

If there are any issues, please feel to contact me.

Regards,

It should be fairly straight-forward to verify. A way to verify your
working EPP is to look at your Eclipse configuration at the features
list. I'll list the renamed features PTP uses once I do the change.

We have an EPP test plan on our Wiki which you can always use to test
Linux Tools features (they are grouped in terms of components).

http://wiki.eclipse.org/Linux_Tools_Project/EPP_Testing

So, you could try running through a component's tests any for Linux
Tools components you ship to verify you have picked it up ok. It is more
than a single sanity test so you might want to just do a few tests for
any component.

Jeff,
Yes, I'm fine with it to and as the EPP committer for parallel package
I'm also ok with you making the change to the package, just cc: me to
remind me when you do.
Thanks for the heads up!
Do you think you (or someone in linuxtools) could test the next epp
parallel package to make sure you see the changes?
Or instruct me how -- beyond the obvious "feature not found" or
something similar on build (from markus) or on startup or in error log.

have modified their feature id to add ".feature". This change requires
us modifying our o.e.epp.package.linuxtools.feature to import the
correct feature names. The o.e.epp.package.parallel.feature also
includes some of these renamed features (e.g. gprof).

our own epp feature? (or altenatively we could supply you with the name

and 0.9.1 releases as well as Juno M4. Your epp feature for Juno
requires these corrections.
