Re: [ptp-dev] Additional pre-defined service in PTP

Greg
I'll accept either "Profile" or "Performance Analysis", whichever you
choose. A couple thoughts though.
If I open the service configurations preferences and add a new service in
the HPC Project Configuration dialog, the labels for the service name,
like 'Launch' and 'Performance Analysis' show up in the available services
list.
Although "Profile" is the term used by Eclipse, I consider that as too
specific since it implies to me one specific form of performance analysis,
where there's other types including tracing. On the other hand, it's good
to use consistent terms rather than inventing new ones, so I'm undecided
on this.

Now I think about it, "Profile" is what Eclipse uses to refer
generically to performance tools, and is what it calls launch
configurations, and there's also a "Profile" button. These service
providers are also not really meant to be visible to the user, so I
wonder if we shouldn't match what Eclipse does?
