[platform-vcm-dev] team providers and file encoding

Hi all,

In the light of the discussion about
support for non-uniform encodings going on in the platform-core-dev list,
we need examples of team providers that keep encoding information for the
managed files/directories and how they do that. Is it on a per-file basis,
or by name patterns, or directory? Do all files have encoding information,
or only those that the user chose?
