I've got another approach to discuss before I open the bug: what about pushing milestones/nighlties to some dedicated Nexus repo?

Nexus has ability to create staging repos, so Platform (or SimRel, or whatever) could try to publish its builds to such staging repo, that would be available for testing but not accessible without explicit setting to avoid confusion. The people who want to try a build just add a reference to the related staging repo.

Would that work? Wouldn't it be a much simpler approach?
