Having more than one page works as well. Each component should have
a page with all the icons in its reference section.
The welcome page can then link to these pages from the "Learn More"
section.

Erich,
Your note regarding 2.1 documentation mentioned "The welcome page should
include a link to all the icons used by a component." We noticed that the
Java welcome page has one link for all the Java icons. However, will the
platform welcome page contain one link for all the platform components? It
seems odd to mix icons from CVS and Ant, for example. Would it be better to
have a link per component in the welcome page?
