Re: [Fwd: [Fwd: [photran] installation problem]]

A quick update and a stupid question:

The exact same behavior is exhibited with a fresh download of a
different Helios installer (CDT & Photran get installed to
~/.eclipse/org.eclipse.platform_3.5.0_1399998724 but aren't loading on
restart.)

Rereading http://www.eclipse.org/photran/download.php, I note that in
big bold letters it says:

"Photran 6 requires Eclipse 3.5 (Galileo) and CDT 7.0."

leading me to believe that perhaps I should be trying this with Galileo,
not Helios. Stupid question: Is the web page out of date or have I
really been wasting my time with Helios?[1]

Maybe I'll create a new user on this box and install everything there
and see if that fixes the Helios issue. Or just punt to Galileo and see
if that works.
